Nordic Walking Festival - Rome


Dear members and friends will come around this important information via email from a dear friend of ours.

Dear Luke and Manrico disorder to inform you that 24 to 26 September will be held in Rome, the International Nordic Walking Festival, with a rich program of activities and excursions that will see the protagonist, first, our beautiful city, its historic sites and its villas. This rich program, continuously updated, can be viewed on the official website of the Festival (http://www.nordicwalkingfestival.it).
Now in its third edition (the first two editions were held in 2008 and 2009 in Val di Fiemme), the International Festival this year will have relevance with the participation of instructors and practitioners from many European countries.
Born in 2008 as the first major event of the Italian discipline, with this year's edition in Rome, the International Nordic Walking Festival will also see for the first time in Italy a special appearance by Marko Kantan, that is, one who has conceived and developed in this sport worldwide.

The event was officially by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage ee in the program of "European Heritage Days 2010" just a testimony of the cultural goals, as well as those related to health, Nordic walking.

"Up and Down photographing"


Association Sport, Environment and Nature "Up and Down" is the photo contest "Up and Down photographing" open to all participants in the activities proposed by it, in the period will run from September 2010 to March 31, 2011, deadline of the competition.

Archaeology for caving, trekking

Nature Photography.

will be awarded the top three in each category with the publication of the photos in the calendar 2011 and the association with gadget chosen by the association.
Each entrant may submit up to No. 3 x photo color category

To be accepted by the jury photos must be sent with the following features:

- JPEG format at full resolution 'shooting available'
- The naming of pictures ( * file name) must be in follows:

- On a text file * file name to indicate date and place of shooting and short caption

Program ViaFrancigena Trekking in Tuscany from 17 20 March 2011: March 17

from Transpo Bus from Siena to San Gimignano with 130 hours 11.20 (bus possible even at 10:15).
12.35 hours arriving in San Gimignano you bring your luggage at guest house in Port St. James St. Jerome, visited the country.

March 18 Breakfast and departure for the section of road from San Gimignano, Monteriggioni francigena.

Our association aims to develop this cultural route since the Jubilee in collaboration with the Brotherhood of the Romei ViaFrancigena.
In particular we look at the route from Siena to Rome, providing information to pilgrims of all kinds or trekker who intends to take during the year, we organize conferences, exhibitions and other events for the development of the route.
We can also provide experienced guides for small or medium periods of walking.
