Noises Off by Michael Frayn, directed by Attilio Corsini

The Company Actors & Technicians dusts off the show with which it is made known in Italy. Noises Off, revived this season by the company in Rome, is a tribute to the inventor and director Attilio Corsini, who died during the past summer. Supported by the undeniable excitement of Stephen Altieri (Amedeo) and Viviana Toniolo (Live) (two of the three players that after 25 years are still struggling with this show), the company still knows us laugh by adjusting the right times and bringing theater in light of the infinite nuances of the text of Michael Frayn. The searching look with which the English author reveals, under the spotlight, the obsessions, doubts and weaknesses of the characters / actors, certainly tested by too many cliches, they know but they highlight the most humane and humble people who Too often we tend to mythologizing. It is apparent, for the duration of the performance, familiarity and ability to interpret a text with which Corsini, right now, has been able to interact, develop and make their own.
